I studied Fashion and Design at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI) and then I went on to study Styling at Studio Rosenberg in Utrecht. When I finished, I got my first job for Blink shoes and that’s when Styled by van Dee was born. This was in 2011 and I have been working as a freelance stylist since then and enjoying every minute of it.

Since then I have worked hard to create my portfolio. I have worked with many talented people and already had a lot of great opportunities, including an internship at Diane von Furstenberg during Paris Fashion Week and helping designers such as Iris van Herpen and Winde Rienstra with their look books. My styling work has been published in many magazines, online and in print and I have styled the CD cover of French singer Jara Ezo. I hope to have many more of such opportunities.

To me fashion is an art form which is more accessible than other art forms such as painting or sculpting. What I like most about it, is that you work with a team, with everybody’s input and you end up creating something together. Multiple visions with one outcome.
